Charlie Bass, CERI's Founder and Executive Chairman, and facilitator Anna Abelha, will introduce the history and purpose of CERI, followed by an outline of the course, including distribution of pre-reading material.
Participants discover the “power of choice” in the entrepreneurial mindset. You will recognise problems as opportunities; how to put Ideas into action; overcoming barriers and roadblocks; and the power of bootstrapping. Groups work together to identify a real-world problem and ideate a solution that could be commercialised into a viable venture. You will be introduced to the lean canvas model and the concept of a Unique Value Proposition (UVP). Groups prepare a presentation to pitch to the room on Day 2.
The morning session focuses on the “pursuit of knowledge”. Participants will learn how to find the knowledge they need in order to accomplish their goals; the importance of shared values and how to build a strong team; building your brand; creating a community and the value of networks. In the afternoon, teams will practice their mini buiness pitch, gaining feedback from facilitators and program peers.

After graduating from our Bootcamp program, you will officially become a CERI alum and part of the CERI community. This includes full access to the facilities in our Nedlands Hub for you to use for business meetings or team meetings, whether workshopping your idea in a focused environment or hosting an insightful conversation over coffee in our common room. You will also be invited to join CERI Plus, our exclusive Alumni network launching in 2022.

Applicants who wish to undertake further programs must first complete the Entrepreneurial Mindset Bootcamp. This course is highly beneficial to the following people, however not limited to:
